See replacementCaught it early? A quick resin repair can save the whole windshield, keep your factory seal, and is often covered with no deductible.
A repair cleans out the break, injects clear resin under vacuum, and cures it hard so the damage stops spreading and mostly disappears. It takes about half an hour and keeps the original factory seal that a replacement has to cut away.

A good repair usually makes the damage much less visible and restores strength, but a faint mark can remain, especially on larger breaks. The main goal is to stop it from spreading into a crack that needs a full replacement.
As a rule of thumb, chips up to about the size of a quarter and cracks up to a few inches are often repairable, as long as they’re not directly in the driver’s line of sight or at the very edge of the glass. Our online damage checker gives you a quick read and we confirm in person.
Many New Jersey drivers with comprehensive coverage can get chip repairs done with no deductible, because insurers would rather pay for a small repair than a full windshield later. We can check and bill it for you.
Sooner is better. A chip can turn into a long crack overnight from a bump, a pothole, or a temperature swing. Once it spreads past repairable size, the only fix is a new windshield.
